1. Be Aggressive: How much is the home worth to you? If you'd be devastated that the sellers choose another offer that’s only slightly higher than your own, then you should offer more. Be willing to offer at the max price your .

2. Be Flexible: If the owners counter, be flexible. Be open-minded about a lease-back or some of the less important aspects of the contract to you.

3. Learn from your offer: If another offer gets accepted instead, consider why and adapt when it comes to putting forth an offer on the next house.
