Into the Weekend we go! As always, there is plenty going on in the DFW metro area. I think the big question I’m wondering about is: what’s going on with our weather? I suppose this is just Spring in North Texas. Whether you’re staying in this weekend or heading out, I have a fantastic new podcast episode for you. Festival of Joy at Klyde Warren Park The Festival of Joy is this Saturday at Klyde Warren Park in downtown Dallas. The event begins in the park, with a parade. There will be variety of cultural and educational exhibits including traditional crafts and cooking demos, yoga and meditation instruction, face painting, mehndi (henna tattoo), traditional dress-up, ethnic street food stalls, and a free vegetarian feast provided by Kalachandji’s. Saturday, April 27th 11AM - 8PM Larger Than Life @ Topo Chico Hard Seltzer Stage & Lawn Larger Than Life, the ultimate boyband tribute, takes over the Topo Chico Hard Seltzer Stage & Lawn. Matt's Market Minute Unsurprisingly, Buyer demand is affected by interest rates. National experts think that we have weak or limited demand when rates are near 7%. I personally think rates have normalized in the 6%-range and most buyers have come to accept that. Time always reveals the whole story - and when rates do go down and demand goes up... prices will, too.
