Buying or selling a home should feel like a decision you're making.
Not something that's happening to you.

Most people don't find the process overwhelming because they're bad at decisions. They find it overwhelming because no one's giving them a clear picture.
There's the market data you're not sure how to read. The timeline pressure that seems to shift every week. The offers, the contingencies, the inspection negotiations — each one with real financial consequences, and not always a clear right answer.
At some point the process stops feeling like something you're navigating and starts feeling like something you're surviving.
That's not how it has to go. When you have the right information — what the market is actually doing, what your options genuinely are, what the tradeoffs look like in your specific situation — the complexity doesn't disappear. But it becomes manageable. You can make decisions from a position of clarity instead of anxiety.
That's what I'm here to provide.
After walking clients through $100M+ in real estate transactions, I've built this practice around five things that consistently determine whether the experience goes well — or doesn't.
Insight
I've tracked the Plano market through over a decade of MLS data — pricing cycles, inventory shifts, neighborhood-level trends. When I tell you what the market is doing, I can show you exactly why. You'll never be left guessing.
Strategy
Data without a plan is just noise. Whether you're buying into a competitive price range or positioning a home to sell in a selective market, I'll help you build a clear strategy — and adjust it when conditions change.
Service
Your timeline, your priorities, your life. I don't manage transactions — I advise people. That means being reachable, being prepared, and handling the details so you don't have to. From first conversation to closing day and beyond.
Patience
The right home — or the right offer — is worth waiting for. I won't push you toward a decision that doesn't feel right, and I won't manufacture urgency to close a deal faster. We move when you're ready and when the math works.
Candor
I'll tell you what I actually think. If a home has a problem worth walking away from, I'll say so. If your list price is too high for the market, I'll show you why. Honest counsel isn't always comfortable — but it's what leads to outcomes you'll still feel good about years later.
Any agent can open doors or send you MLS listings. But navigating this market well requires so much more — someone who knows the data, has a clear strategy, and will tell you the truth even when it's not what you were hoping to hear.
Matt Haistings
My job is to give you the clearest possible picture of your situation — and the most honest possible recommendation for what to do about it. That's not how every agent approaches this work. It's how I've approached it since my first transaction, and it's shaped everything about how this practice is built.
Before real estate, I spent years learning how to think through complex problems — as a U.S. Army Captain managing logistics under pressure, as a strategy consultant at Deloitte, and through an MBA at Cornell. Those experiences didn't teach me how to sell houses. They taught me how to read a situation clearly, build a plan that holds up, and give people honest counsel when the stakes are real.
I've applied that same approach to the Plano market for over a decade — tracking more than ten years of MLS data, publishing weekly market updates, and building the kind of deep local knowledge that only comes from sustained, deliberate attention. I've guided clients through $100M+ in transactions and have consistently ranked in the top 1% of individual Realtors in the Dallas area.
I live in West Plano. When I'm not doing market research or working with clients, you'll usually find me hiking the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve with my golden retriever, Corky.
